Today we sit down with Emmy-Winning Composer, Mac Quayle. He won his Emmy for Mr. Robot, and has been nominated a total of four times! He also composes Ryan Murphy gems such as American Crime Story, American Horror Story, and 9-1-1. Jake and Mac settled into Mac’s studio in Hollywood and got to know one another. Have a listen!

This week we have the pleasure of sitting down with Grammy Award-Winning Film & TV Composer, Mateo Messina. Mateo is widely known for his Award-Winning score for the movie Juno. You can also hear his work on shows like Casual, Superstore and many more. Most recently he scored the breakout hit-film, Blockers. Jake and Mateo discuss all of this and much more!

MIDI MAFIA

It was a personal thrill of mine to have MIDI MAFIA on the show this week. If you don’t know this production duo, you should. They have produced jams with 50 Cent such as 21 Questions, and have obtained huge success licensing their urban tracks to Film & TV through their MADE series with Extreme Music. This week we had the absolute honor of sitting down with David Francisco. You’ve heard his music on many a show, but you probably know him as the guy that made Katy Perry cry during his American Idol audition. This brave-soul sat down with Jake and told his inspirational story.

For our latest episode, Jake traveled out to Siddhartha Khosla’s studio for a chat. Khosla is currently composing This Is Us for NBC, and Marvel’s Runaways with Hulu and his band Goldspot has also been featured on various projects.
